What is acupuncture ?

Restoring balance between your physical, emotional and spiritual body.

By stimulating the systems of the body:

  • NERVOUS
  • IMMUNE
  • HORMONAL
  • RESPIRATORY
  • DIGESTIVE
  • MUSCULAR SKELETAL
  • CARDIOVASCULAR

Using ultra fine sterile needles, inserted into specific areas of the body which when formulated together can stimulate a healing effect within the body.

Acupuncture points are found along channels or ‘meridian’ these are pathways in which the QI (energy) flows. Points are specifically chosen to disperse blockages and bring QI into balance.

The more balance, the healthier a person becomes. It is common for people to experience changes not only in their physical health but emotional and wellbeing also.

What can cause blockages?

Illness, stress, lifestyle, emotions, bereavement, injuries, hormonal changes. Many things can cause slight imbalances within us. Acupuncture can help many ailments, to name a few:

Muscle/ joint pain, insomnia, libido, mensuration issues, IBS, fatigue…
